This conference, to be held Thursday 27–Saturday 29 November 2025 at Melbourne Law School, explores the theme 'Currency' in all its meanings—from money in use to the circulation of ideas and legal norms. Papers from all periods, regions and disciplines are invited, including law, legal theory, history, political science, Indigenous studies, gender studies, and law & literature. Keynotes include Prof. Katy Barnett, Prof. Sundhya Pahuja and Prof. Andreas Thier. Early-career sessions and Kercher Scholarships are available. Abstracts of 300 words plus a 100‑word bio are due Monday 11 August 2025 with acceptances by Monday 15 September 2025. Registration and accommodation details will be announced.
