Workshop @ ICML 2026 in Seoul, South Korea on July 10/11, 2026. The workshop asks what it means for an AI system to be competent in law and how such competence can be built, evaluated, and validated so that it generalizes across legal systems while enabling equitable access to justice. Themes include AI for Legal Reasoning, AI Evaluation in Law, and AI for Access to Justice. Submissions must be 8 pages excluding references and appendices, follow ICML 2026 formatting guidelines, be anonymous, undergo double-blind review, and be submitted via OpenReview. Previously published archival papers are not permitted.
