The First Year Law Experience Symposium will bring together legal academics to explore how law schools can better support students as they transition into legal study and university life. This one-day symposium will provide a forum to share research, teaching innovations, and reflective practice relating to first-year law education. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities in designing curricula, supporting diverse cohorts of students, and fostering engagement in large first-year classes. The symposium aims to build a community of practice among educators interested in enhancing the first-year law experience across Australia.
