IP Academics Australasia welcomes abstracts on any aspect of IP law, practice, policy, theory, history, or related interdisciplinary research. We also invite suggestions for discussion panels/other interactive session formats.

IP Academics Australasia has long provided a warm and collegial forum to share ideas, discuss current challenges, and develop new collaborations. We welcome abstracts on any aspect of intellectual property law, practice, policy, theory, history, or related interdisciplinary research. We also invite suggestions for discussion panels and other interactive session formats. Submission details Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Discussion panel/interactive session suggestions should include a brief explanation, no more than 50 words. Please include your name, affiliation, link to your institutional profile, and contact details. Please send your abstract/discussion panel/interactive session suggestions by 30 September 2026, to Jessica.lai@vuw.ac.nz. You will be notified of the outcome by the end of October 2026. There will be no registration fee for attendance. Further details regarding registration, the venue and accommodation options will be circulated in due course.
