The Anti-Colonial Resistance Network invites HDR candidates and staff to submit abstracts for an in-person symposium on 12 November 2026. The symposium welcomes presentations on anti-colonial and decolonial theory, Indigenous sovereignty and self-determination, settler colonialism, Indigenous methodologies, resistance movements, and related areas of critical scholarship. Presentations will be 10-20 minutes in length depending on the number of submissions received. Submissions should include a title and a 250-word abstract. Works in progress, theoretical papers, community-engaged research, and reflections on teaching and practice are welcome. HDR candidates and early career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit.
